Recently, I created an Instagram Reel where I listed all my goals for 2022. It was the first time I realized how much I had accomplished and grown (thanks, Instagram!). One of the goals on that list was that I had set new personal bests at every exercise in the gym.

Let me take you back for a moment. I’ve been on my fitness journey for a while now. I started out completely clueless but eventually became an online coach myself. After years of experience, I was able to help transform other people’s bodies. But there was one downside to that boost of confidence: it limited my own growth at the gym.

You see, I thought that since I was an expert, it would be stupid for me to get a coach for my own training. If people were hiring me for my advice, why would I need help? But that’s where I was wrong. I was so good at creating workout plans for myself and others that I never even considered asking for help in a field where I was already an expert. Creating my own workout plans ended up limiting my growth at some point.

Here’s what I mean: I’m excellent at putting together exercises into a workout, and my friends and clients have always achieved great results. But what I can’t offer myself is a third perspective on things. I can’t look at my own workout from a different angle because I’m only one person.

So in summer 2022, I decided to get a coach for myself and start getting workout plans from them. And let me tell you, it has made such a difference! It wasn’t easy at first to switch to completely different workouts, splits, routines, sets, and let go of my own structure. But it was so necessary and so rewarding.

Now, this doesn’t mean that my workout plans were bad (quite the opposite, in fact). But when you construct your own plans for years, you get into a comfort zone without realizing it, and you don’t try as many new things. Introducing new stimuli to my muscles has helped them grow so much in a shorter time. I wish I had given this a shot much sooner.

Going through this experience has made me do three things:

  1. Realize that the only limiting factor in life is always yourself.
  2. Level up my fitness goals, knowing that there’s so much potential growth to be made.
  3. Create a gym workout program for my clients that is super affordable for anyone.

If you’ve been creating your own plans for a while now, or if you want to save yourself some time and make your gains quicker and more efficiently, I highly suggest you check out the Pancake to Peach Program and have me as your coach for less than $1 a day.

Thanks for being here!
