One of the easiest ways to increase your caloric intake is the popular nut butter, peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, we know the drill. But most nut butter in stores is expensive and not attainable for everyone. And what about those who are allergic to nuts? Well, let me present, GRANOLA BUTTER! Granola butter is the perfect alternative to nut butter for everyone who’s on a budget, has a nut allergy, or simply loves granola! This recipe is super easy to make and you can make it in bulk to have it ready whenever you crave it. All you need are the following ingredients: Oats, oil (coconut or olive work best), tahini, flax seeds, and some spices. And the method couldn’t be any simpler, just roast the oats (in an oven, air fryer, or even stovetop) until golden, and blend all ingredients together. Voila, your granola butter is ready to be enjoyed!
I love it as a drizzle on my porridge, smoothie bowls, or even dipping banana or apple as a snack!
